Sandbanks Hotel, Poole

The hotel offers spacious rooms that, although a bit dated, are larger than expected and overlook the harbor. The service was welcoming despite language barriers, and the location is fantastic with onsite parking. The dining experience had room for improvement but was satisfactory. Overall, it's a comfortable choice with great potential for upgrades.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were unfortunately noisy with constant disturbances from the air conditioning system and the proximity to the top floor door. The ambiance was lacking and there were cooking smells present. On the bright side, the service was attentive despite some shortcomings, and the location is undeniably appealing, especially for beach lovers.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms, overlooking the harbor, were quite large and nicely decorated, but had some issues like a hanging bath side and hot water problems. It felt like a budget B&B charging premium rates. The service was great, particularly with one member of our group needing wheelchair assistance.
